Our Impact ON YOUTH

Outward Bound Canada’s impact extends far beyond course durations and the thousands of youth served annually. We are a vocal champion for the outdoor education sector, highlighting its increasing importance in today’s society. As a leading facilitator of outdoor learning experiences that support physical, social, and emotional skill development and environmental leadership, we focus on youth underserved with outdoor education. Participants emerge from our programs with renewed confidence, strengthened leadership skills, and a deeper connection to nature. Our alumni succeed academically, professionally, and personally, and go on to advocate for positive change in their communities and beyond. OBC worked with Bain and Company to quantify the impact of OBC’s programs. We also help diversify the outdoor sector by preparing hundreds of youth for impactful careers with our Training Academy for Outdoor Professionals every year.
