Join National Geographic Explorer in Residence and celebrated international author and anthropologist Wade Davis and Senior Outward Bound Canada Leaders in stunning Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Participants will stay in private two person cabins at the charming and rustic Mount Assiniboine Lodge, North America’s first backcountry ski lodge, nestled at the base of iconic Mt. Assiniboine.
Your days will be spent day hiking from the lodge, in the company of Wade Davis, Senior Outward Bound Canada Leaders and certified professional Guides, exploring the multitude of trails which are surrounded by soaring peaks, alpine meadows and turquoise lakes. Evenings will be spent back at the Lodge as we enjoy hearty home cooked meals and great discussions facilitated by Wade Davis and Outward Bound staff.
*As this is a fundraising expedition, the expectation is that all participants will make a donation to support OBC’s charitable programs.
